Einen Filmtipp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Das ist darum bemerkenswert, weil die Abteilung sich sonst tapfer an das heteronormative Narrativ der lokalen Gleichstellungspolitik h\u00e4lt, das sich auch im Gleichstellungstest der Gleichstellungskommission zu den kantonalen Wahlen deutlich zeigte: Anliegen von schwulen M\u00e4nnern, aber auch anderen LGBTIQ-Menschen, werden konsequent ignoriert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>F\u00fcr gew\u00f6hnlich liest man darum von Beobachtungen wie beispielsweise, dass die Zustimmung von M\u00e4nnern &#8218;zum relativ einfachen Masken tragen, Abstand halten oder H\u00e4nde waschen sehr viel niedriger ist als jene der Frauen&#8216;, oder dass &#8218;Frauen weltweit w\u00e4hrend der Corona-Pandemie drei Mal so viel unbezahlte Haus- und Pflegearbeit erledigen wie M\u00e4nner&#8216; oder es werden Streamings gezeigt von Podien zu Themen wie &#8218;Gender und interkulturelle P\u00e4dagogik an Basler Schulen&#8216;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Einen Filmtipp also. \u00abBeyto\u00bb l\u00e4uft im Kultkino und handelt von einem jungen Mann mit t\u00fcrkischen Wurzeln \u2013 und all den Problemen, die das mit sich bringen kann. Ist das der Anfang einer vertieften Auseinandersetzung der Abteilung f\u00fcr Gleichstellung mit Themen wie Homosexualit\u00e4t, Migration und Homophobie, Lohnungleichheit zwischen hetero- und homosexuellen M\u00e4nnern, mit der 5 x h\u00f6heren Selbstmordrate von schwulen M\u00e4nnern gegen\u00fcber heterosexuellen M\u00e4nnern, \u00fcberhaupt einer differenzierten Betrachtung von M\u00e4nnern oder vielleicht sogar der Rolle der heterosexuellen Frau in schwulenfeindlichen Strukturen? \u00dcbergriffe und Mobbing von Cheffinnen an schwulen M\u00e4nnern? Das w\u00e4re h\u00f6chst erfreulich!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Und von wegen Filmtipp: Ab heute l\u00e4uft \u00abMoffie\u00bb im Stadtkino. Der Film spielt in S\u00fcdafrika 1981, zur Zeit der Apartheid: Wie alle weissen jungen M\u00e4nner muss auch Nicholas Van der Swart seinen zweij\u00e4hrigen Milit\u00e4rdienst leisten, um das Regime zu verteidigen. Dass Nicholas schwul ist, darf niemand wissen, denn wer in der Truppe als &#8218;Moffie&#8216; erkannt ist, wird brutal schikaniert und gequ\u00e4lt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Schwule M\u00e4nner und Milit\u00e4rdienst.
